So…Kim and I just got back from our wonderful trip to Thailand. While she’s a good human bean who posted often, I had been neglecting my duty as a blogger. Now, the time has come. I’ll do my share (or at least, try). I should let you all know that I decided to post a little bit at a time. Hopefully, this doesn’t end up being one really long post that no one wants to read.
Regardless, here I go.
We got to JFK airport in New York on Saturday… only to find that we don’t have seats on the plane. Hmmm, small problem. The airline people (Japan Airlines) with their powers combined had to change our flight to a later one.

I thought they were really cute, so I didn’t mind waiting or anything. After much Japanese speaking among what seemed to be everyone and their mom, we got exit row seats (= leg room + freedom to get up at all time) and an access to the lounge.

The lounge was this mystical place where people with business/first class people hang out. At first, it didn’t seem too special… but only until I discovered free food(like soba, onigiri, an-pan, cheese, cracker, etc) , drinks (tea, coffee and alcamahol), internet and a really nice bathroom (with seat warmer, “bidet” and a blow drier).

Now I am spoiled. How am I supposed to go back my “economy” life with no lounge?
