Last weekend, we went to the city (again) to spend some time with the Helene (who just got her 3rd angle surgery). We hung out (also with her mom, sister and boyfriend), talked, ate things (including the best roast beef ever at Roll-n-Roaster) and watched Kingdom of Heaven (Great, great movie!). Helene was in such a high spirit the whole time. Really, I’m just so impressed. :)
On our way back to the Garden State of NJ, we stopped by Strand to look at some books. After much debates with myself, I decided (with encouragement from the Kim) to take this book home:

It’s about stats/probability/randomness in life. (you should google it for a better synopsis. haha) I read the first chapter on the train home and it was pretty cool. So true that human usually look for a pattern in everything… including things that are, in fact, random. Really, this book makes my dorky self so so happy. :D
